Sharon Beene

I am a passionate quilter and educator from Glen, Mississippi, just east of Corinth. My quilting journey began in 1993, and in 2015, I started teaching quilting classes, including beginner techniques, stack-n-whack, Diamond in the Rough, magic triangles, and English paper piecing. Sharing my knowledge and watching students grow in their craft brings me great joy. My husband and I ran a quilt shop from our home for 19 years before moving it to Corinth in 2019. We specialize in fabric, notions, and long-arm quilting, with custom work by my daughter Andrea.

I’ve won many ribbons at quilt shows, including a 1st place and Best of Show award, and continue to learn through classes with nationally known instructors. As a member of two quilt guilds, I’ve served as president, vice president, and program chair. I’m also a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, cherishing my family and my quilting community.
